Holding my breath
for when you walk by
Counting the seconds
until you say hi
But instead you smile
and look straight ahead
I turn away quickly
feeling flushed & red
My mind wandering so aimlessly
That act was so wrong
Cause' we were so close
and now we're so gone ..
